The Problem
PIPA is a non profit-making personal membership association run predominantly by a committee of volunteers who are based all round the country and who work for different companies. Sharing and protecting data between the committee members was becoming more and more taxing.
PIPA needed a solution that would allow their committee members to share data live, whilst making sure it was secure and being backed up.

The Problem
On a busy Friday afternoon one of the “Line of Business (LOB)” servers encountered a catastrophic hardware failure, causing the entire company to shutdown. It was then discovered that the server was out of warranty and that the replacement parts were unavailable.
It was imperative that the LOB server was restored to a working state as quickly as possible.

The Problem
Due to the recent growth in the company a new office has been purchased, this new office needs to be able to access all the software and data available at head office. On top of this access for a roaming office that follows contracts around the country was also required.
A key requirement for the solution was that their “Line of Business (LOB)” application and its entire content were available at all sites all of the time and that changes made by each site are available immediately on the other sites.
